We are delighted to announce that Nicola Mason will assume the role of Global Head of Defence.

Nicola has been a highly valued member of the Skuld staff for over 30 years, most recently serving as Head of Claims and Deputy Head of the Hong Kong Business Unit. Her leadership, expertise in shipping law and marine insurance, and dedication to mentoring have been instrumental in our success.

Nicola’s qualifications include being a CEDR-accredited mediator and a Barrister, with LLB and LLM degrees from University College London. She has been involved in significant cases such as the Hebei Spirit, Ocean Victory, and Achilleas, earning respect from peers and clients.

Nicola stated, “I am honoured to take on this new role and look forward to continuing to contribute to Skuld’s success. I am committed to upholding our high standards and delivering exceptional service to our members.”

Nicola will transition to her new position on 1 April 2025.
