Weathernews  has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HD Hyundai Marine Solution (HMS), a subsidiary of the HD Hyundai Group. The partnership aims to optimize maritime operations by integrating Weathernews’s precise weather forecasting capabilities with HMS’s advanced vessel performance models

Established in 1986, Weathernews is one of the world’s largest private weather information company, offering specialized services across maritime, aviation, and terrestrial sectors. Known for its “Weather Routing Service,” the company provides safe and cost-effective navigation routes for vessels, serving over 50 countries with 24/7 risk communication services. Through this collaboration, Weathernews seeks to further utilize its extensive maritime data to enhance safety and operational efficiency.

Under the MOU, Weathernews will supply detailed weather data, while HMS will contribute its technical expertise in vessel performance modeling.
