2024 was a year of impressive achievements and dynamic events for Ayia Napa Marina, solidifying its reputation as a premier hub for marine tourism, lifestyle, and entertainment. With a strong presence across various sectors, this year marked a pivotal moment for growth and innovation.

Last year, Ayia Napa Marina hosted a wide array of events, showing a 30% increase compared to 2023. These included major sporting events such as sailing races and tournaments, strengthening its reputation as a hub for sporting excellence. Additionally, the Marina served as the Title Sponsor of the International Sea Tourism Festival (ISTF), one of the most significant maritime tourism events in the region. This festival attracted international participation, further positioning Cyprus as a maritime tourism center in the Mediterranean. A source of great pride for the Marina was its sponsorship of Olympic champion Pavlos Kontides, showcasing its commitment to promoting excellence in nautical sports.

One of the most remarkable and heartfelt moments of 2024 was “The Glowmorous Dinner”, an elegant and radiant gala co-organized with the Karaiskakio Foundation. This exceptional evening, dedicated to supporting the Foundation’s specialized Pediatric Cancer Center, combined luxury with fine gastronomy and set a new standard as a high-quality charitable event. Moreover, the Marina’s fairytale Christmas Village established itself as the ultimate festive destination on the island, with a variety of entertainment activities and events for all ages, surpassing previous attendance records.

During the summer, seaside cinema nights under the starry sky offered unique experiences, while hosting prestigious events such as MED9, the Ducati Launch Event, and various musical and sporting occasions highlighted the Marina’s growing versatility and appeal.

In fact, the Marina achieved a 30% increase in the total number of events from 2023 to 2024, underscoring its growing potential as a flexible and high-quality venue for all types of events.

At the same time, the state-of-the-art facilities of the Spa and gym at the Eastern Tower stood out, delivering premium wellness services and creating an unparalleled relaxation and fitness experience for both residents and visitors.

Additionally, 2024 saw a significant 30% increase in boat arrivals compared to 2023, along with a 25% rise in long-term mooring contracts, cementing Ayia Napa Marina’s status as a premier destination for leisure boating in the Mediterranean. The year closed with the opening of a new sales office in Limassol, expanding the Marina’s presence and enhancing its services across Limassol and Paphos districts.

The coming year promises even greater excitement, with upgrades, new initiatives, and important developments already on the agenda. Notable planned events include the International Sea Tourism Festival (ISTF) 2025, consolidating the Marina’s role in maritime tourism, as well as the return of the “Glowmorous Dinner”, promising even greater charm and emotional resonance. Furthermore, for the first time, Ayia Napa Marina will host the Food Festival, a three-day gastronomic celebration that is expected to captivate both locals and visitors.
