MOL PLUS delivers guest lecture on entrepreneurship and participates in business plan contest at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology
Aiming to Support Creation of New Businesses by Marine Entrepreneur
MOL PLUS announced that it conducted a guest lecture in November 2024 at Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology for students studying the entrepreneurship-related course “Marine Entrepreneurship Theory I” (Faculty member in charge: Professor Naotomo Nakahara), which was introduced as a regular course in 2024. Additionally, in December, MOL PLUS CEO Takuya Sakamoto served as a judge at the Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology Business Plan Contest 2024.
Guest lecture at the Marine Entrepreneurship Theory I
Based on our Purpose, “We will PLUS new value to the ocean shipping industry and society,” MOL PLUS will continue striving to create new businesses in the ocean shipping and marine business domains. To achieve this objective, talented personnel capable of driving new businesses in the ocean shipping and marine business fields are essential, and we are therefore dedicated to fostering entrepreneurs both inside and outside the company.
Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology has offered a marine entrepreneur training program for undergraduate and graduate students since the 2021 academic year, with the aim of nurturing entrepreneurs. The guest lecture and business plan contest were a part of the program.
MOL PLUS will continue contributing to the nurturing of entrepreneurial talent through partnerships.
