On Friday, January 17, 2025,  200  guests gathered at the Four Seasons Hotel, Limassol to celebrate the New Year’s with Cyprus Marine Club.

The President of CMC, Capt. Eberhard Koch and the General, Mrs. Julia Paczkowska, in their entertaining, laced with humor and anecdotes joint opening speech, welcomed Guests with New Year’s wishes.

The Shipping Deputy Minister, Mrs. Marina Hadjimanolis represented the Cyprus Government and the President of the Republic of Cyprus Mr. Nikos Christodoulides at the CMC Gala Dinner.

In Her Excellency welcome address to guests, The Minister acknowledged the Cyprus Marine Club as the pioneer for more than 25 years, promoting the virtues of collectivity, shared ambition, and the pursuit of excellence in the field of shipping.

The President of CMC, Capt. Eberhard Koch thanked H.E. Mrs. Marina Hadjimanolis as well as Permanent Secretary – Dr. Stelios Himonas for being devoted supporters of the Club and always finding time to attend the Club’s events.

“We are especially delighted to have our Shipping Minister and The Permanent Secretary with us this evening despite their very busy schedules(..).

Tonight we gather in this beautiful, immersive environment designed to surround you with the beautiful, positive energy that, I hope, we have managed to create in 2024.” –The President, Capt. E. Koch added.

The Club’s  Members, as well as people who have played an important role in the successful restructuring of the CMC to C.M.C.L Cyprus Marine Club Limited, were graciously thanked for their commitment and loyalty. Especially warm words of gratitude were directed to the EVENT SPONSORS AND ANNUAL SPONSORS OF THE CLUB:

The CMC Gala was meticulously planned, and well organized, and the ballroom of the hotel was beautifully decorated guests could enjoy not only a splendid menu but also the live music by “Lia the Violin” and then a very energetic music Band “Time Surfers” who very quickly gathered most of the guests on the dancing floor, creating an engaging,  enjoyable and truly unforgettable experience.
