MOL PLUS opens ‘MOL PLUS Technical Desk’
Further Promoting Partnership/Strengthening Framework for Group Business Collaboration
MOL PLUS announced the opening of the MOL PLUS Technical Desk. Headed by Jin Yamasaki, who is a member of Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, Technology & Digital Integration Unit, the new desk aims to strengthen MOL PLUS’s understanding of core technologies with startups and enhance the acceleration of the framework for business collaboration between startups and MOL Group
MOL PLUS CEO Takuya Sakamoto commented: “In the discussions we have had with many startups, ‘Collaboration in joint R&D’ and ‘Matching the technology seeds of startups with the needs of the Maritime Industry’ have often become Agenda of discussion. We will enhance the probability of business collaboration between start-ups and MOL group.”
MOL PLUS continually works to generate synergetic effects based on startup companies’ innovative ideas and technologies and MOL Group’s resources through investment in and collaboration with startups, aiming to create new businesses PLUS new value to the ocean shipping industry and society.
