Windstar Cruises welcomes Mayor Fraga to Company’s Doral headquarters

Windstar Cruises had the honor of welcoming Doral Mayor Christi Fraga to its headquarters on Wednesday for an afternoon of collaboration and community spirit. Mayor Fraga met with Windstar President Christopher Prelog, the brand’s leadership team, and the extended Windstar team during her visit.

Windstar relocated its global headquarters from Seattle, Washington to the heart of Doral in 2022, now operating from the fifth floor of the Doral Concourse at 8400 NW 36th Street

During her visit, Mayor Fraga participated in the cruise line’s popular “Windstar Wednesday,” a weekly gathering where employees share a locally-sourced lunch while discussing business insights and community initiatives. This week’s menu featured authentic Cuban cuisine from La Esquina del Lechón, reflecting Windstar’s commitment to supporting local businesses

Since relocating to Doral, Windstar has actively engaged with local organizations through several impactful partnerships. The company proudly sponsored Pinta Miami during Miami Art week, supported the South Florida Business Journal’s Ultimate CEO Awards, and presented The Latin Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Awards during Latin GRAMMY® Week. Additionally, Windstar has partnered with Fountainhead Arts to commission striking murals for both its yachts and office spaces.
