The Cyprus Shipping Chamber, with the voluntary participation of employees of its Shipping Member-companies, organised its Annual Blood Donation Drive on 4 December, in Limassol, in memory of its former Secretariat member, Ben Casey, who passed away in December 2021.

The Blood Donations organised by the Chamber this year, collected over 90 blood units, bringing the total contribution to more than 3400 units through blood drives conducted consistently for over thirty years. More than one hundred individuals responded to the Chamber’s call this year, demonstrating that the Cyprus Shipping Industry cares and contributes significantly to Cyprus society.

The Shipping Chamber, extends its warm appreciation to the volunteers from its Member-Companies for their valuable contribution and commits to continue its social responsibility activities for the well-being and health of its fellow human beings.
