Beijing and Valenciaport compare cruise strategies

A delegation of the Beijing Tourism Office has visited this morning the facilities of the Port Authority of Valencia moved by the interest of the technicians of the Chinese capital to know the strategy and management that Valenciaport maintains in terms of cruises. The Chinese representatives visit the Valencian capital by the hand of the Chamber of Commerce of Valencia in the framework of an institutional visit that has allowed them to know closely the commercial and tourist fabric of the Cap i Casal.
At the APV, they were attended by the Head of Marketing and Cruises, Francesca Antonelli (in the center, in the attached photo), who answered numerous questions about the seasonality of the cruise activity, visitor profile, tourist flows, preferences on excursions and economic impact.
Beijing is the capital of China. It is one of the most populated cities on the planet. Four years ago it had 22 million inhabitants. It is a city that does not have a seaport; although it is very attentive to the tourist movements that can be derived from cruise ship calls in ports such as Bohai, on the Yellow Sea, 150 km away, or Tianjin, 200 km away, both very well connected by highways and railroads.
