Since 2023, Sofuoglu International Shipping has been leveraging StormGeo’s s-Insight solution, following the strategic partnership agreement with the Turkish Shipowner’s Association.

Before partnering with StormGeo, Sofuoglu International Shipping faced challenges in accessing reliable and up-to-date data sets for emission regulations and performance calculations. Taking on a proactive approach Sofuoglu recognized the need to stay ahead of the constantly evolving emission regulations. Through this partnership, Sofuoglu International Shipping utilizes a suite of StormGeo’s products and services, including the s-Insight Log data reporting tool and the s-Insight Fleet Performance Management System. This system encompasses technical, commercial, and environmental performance packages, along with daily alert services from StormGeo’s Fleet Performance Center.

Integrating StormGeo’s Comprehensive s-Insight Solution

Despite operating coaster general cargo vessels, Sofuoglu International Shipping has implemented StormGeo’s s-Log Reporting solution across their fleet. This strategic move ensures compliance with the 2025 MRV regulation and puts them in a favorable position for a seamless transition into the upcoming year’s challenging regulatory environment.

Following the strategic partnership signed between the Turkish Shipowners’ Association and StormGeo last year, Sofuoglu began collaborating with StormGeo to prepare their vessels under 5000 GRT for the upcoming MRV regulation, set to take effect in 2025.
