Jesper Nielsen is the Group Responsibility Director at Monjasa, one of the world’s top 10 bunker suppliers, specializing in the trading and physical supply of marine fuels, oil terminal operations, and ship ownership. With nearly two decades of experience in the shipping industry and an Executive MBA from Henley Business School, UK, Jesper has been with Monjasa since 2012. He leads the company’s HSEQ, Compliance, and Sustainability efforts, driving innovation and responsibility across the maritime sector.

Currently, his work focuses on advancing sustainable practices, forming strategic low-carbon fuel partnerships, decarbonizing the fleet, and investing in key initiatives aligned with the International Maritime Organization’s (IMO) climate strategy goals. Jesper is playing a pivotal role in tackling the challenges of decarbonization, steering the industry toward a more sustainable future.
Additionally, Jesper serves as Managing Director of CBED, part of the Monjasa Group, a leading service operation vessel (SOV) shipowner in the European offshore wind industry, reflecting his ongoing commitment to the green energy transition.
