Culinary Training Officer Vacancy at MCTC

Due to strong continued growth, an opportunity has arisen for a Culinary Training Officer to join the MCTC team and play an important role in the company’s expansion plan.
As a Culinary Training Officer, you‘ll be responsible for:
- Assisting and supporting the Culinary Training Supervisor.
- Providing e-learning distance coaching according to the specified training material.
- Coaching and assessing e-learning for vessels and crew members.
- Assessing the competence gained by the crew members.
- Reporting any issues or questions arising from the vessel and/or principal.
- Reporting to the Fleet Supervisor and Culinary Training Supervisor regarding the progress of course participants, and addressing any issues or questions from the vessel and/or principal.
- Updating and maintaining training records for training courses and participants.
- Participating in the in-house training program.
- Following and adhering to predetermined communication and reporting lines.
- Following up with vessels regarding overdue assessments.
- Visiting vessels and conducting on-the-job culinary training when needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Our Expectations:
- Graduate of Culinary College or Hotel Management College.
- Proven working experience as Chef for a minimum of two years.
- Computer literacy; excellent knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Excellent command of the English language (written and verbal).
- Willingness to travel.
- Good communication skills.
- Good organisational skills.
