Cyprus Marine Club  is proud to announce the celebrations of its 25-year anniversary which took on 24th May at a stunning Amara Hotel.

Since its inception in 1999, the Cyprus Marine Club has been committed to fostering maritime spirit, and networking, and this milestone marks a momentous journey of growth and success.
Over the years, the CMC has grown from 20 founding members and through unwavering dedication and a relentless pursuit of excellence, the Club has successfully embraced almost 500 people.

The President, Capt. Eberhard Koch thanked and congratulated Ms. Anna Vourgos,Director,  Aphentrica Maritime Insurance Brokers for the 25 years of loyalty and contributions to the development of the Club.

The President  further congratulated the newly elected Board of Directors during the Regular General Meeting which took place  on the same day at Amara Hotel:-

Capt. E. Koch further added that the Club was incredibly grateful to the loyal sponsors,  dedicated Members, and supportive BOD  who have been integral to our success throughout this remarkable journey. The CMC “Fellowship of The Seas” has been always at the heart of its growth.

You are the foundation not only of our Club but the backbone of the resilient, dynamic Cyprus Shipping Industry that we are so proud of and that other industries may only envy. When I am asked as to what the reason behind the success of our Club and what its biggest strength is I always have one impromptu reply: our members” ( Capt. Eberhard Koch).

The Permanent Secretary of Shipping Deputy Ministry, H.E.  Dr Stelios Himonas honored guests with his presence and speech in which he underlined the significance and contributions of Cyprus Marine Club to the development of Cyprus shipping industry.

Other Key shipping personalities of Cyprus shipping industry also attended the dinner, including  Propeller Club President – Mr. Polys Hajioannou;  Vice President of Cyprus Union of Shipowners  – Mr. George Mouskas, and Mr. Christos Chrysanthou as well as Mr. Eric Montanios- the Senior Partner and Honorary President of Montanios & Montanios LLC.

The 25th  anniversary of the Club signifies not only the years of hard work and determination but also the immense potential that lies ahead as the Club continues to unite the shipping industry across challenges and successes in the fellowship, togetherness, and devotion of shipping enthusiasts.

To mark the exceptional milestone, a new logo of the Club was presented  during the dinner.

The Cyprus Marine Club  aims to further enhance its offerings, explore new opportunities, establish its new home and continue delivering exceptional value to its members in a new format of company limited by guarantee.
