Elena joined FRS group 10 years ago and is Managing Director of FRS Shipmanagement Managing Director since January 2021.

FRS Shipmanagement is a Cyprus based company that specializes in ferry management, providing very specialized sea-going personnel to High Speed Crafts and conventional ferries of FRS group and to the ferry industry in general from around the world. FRS group, with over 1500 employees and more than 150 years experience in the ferry industry, owns, manages and operates today 70 vessels and transports 8M passengers in Europe, Middle East, Caribe, USA and Canada.

A Spanish citizen, Elena has studied in Spain, Germany and the US, holding a business degree in business Management and a masters degree in International Relations. She has a remarkable international background holding senior management positions in different locations around the globe, as Nigeria, the Philippines, Peru, Saudi Arabia or Qatar, among others. With a remarked strategic and analytical thinking, she oversees FRS Shipmanagement goals and objectives, focusing on providing high standard crewing solutions and keeping high retention rates of seafarers, while helping ferry operators to take strategic decisions to help them improving their operations.
