Stolthaven Santos receives Dow award for Operational Excellence for the third year in a row

Stolthaven Terminals’ facility in Santos, Brazil has been awarded the DowGOL award for Operational Excellence in 2023. This is the third year in a row the terminal has received the award from its long-standing customer, Dow.
The award recognises Dow’s logistics providers in Brazil for outstanding performance in safety and responsible care, operational excellence, customer experience, digital visibility and data security, environmental and social responsibility and governance.
Dow considered many companies across Brazil for their operational performance and sustainability initiatives in 2023, making Stolthaven Santos’ achievement, for the third consecutive year, particularly special. Key to the terminal’s success were its commitment to operational excellence, training and sustainability, and its ongoing investment in automation and digitalisation to continuously enhance services to customers.
Marcelo Schmitt, General Manager of Stolthaven Terminals Brazil, said: “This award not only recognises our exemplary operational performance, but also reaffirms our position as a leader in the storage and handling of speciality chemical products and strengthens our mission to be the most respected storage service provider on a global scale.
“Being chosen by Dow to take care of its specialty chemicals is a testament to the trust placed in us. We look forward to continuing to contribute to our customers’ supply chains and constantly striving for excellence in our services. This recognition inspires us to continue innovating and striving to achieve even more results in the future.”
Stolthaven Santos also won a DowGOL ‘Best terminal in Brazil’ award in 2023.
