MarineShaft has newly purchased another piece of equipment to provide its customers with the best and fastest repair services

Laser Cleaning
MarineShaft has recently added another piece of laser equipment to its comprehensive portfolio of machinery and mobile equipment, ensuring capacity for any emergency repair in-house as well as on-site.
The laser cleaner will be a valuable tool for many tasks and severely speed up the cleaning process.

MarineShaft specializes in class-approved repair of rudder and propeller equipment, which involves cleaning many shafts and rudder stocks, propellers, and other components before the actual welding or machining repair begins.
Gentle cleaning method
The laser cleaning does not harm the base material, as the laser does not remove any material once the painting or rust is removed.

It runs on a regular power supply and can be used handheld or attached to a lathe or other turning device.
The laser beam is strong, and eye protection and other safety precautions are essential, which MarineShaft strongly upholds.
- Cleaning of propeller shafts & rudder stocks
- Removal of coating
- Removal of cavitation / rust
- Cleaning of propeller blades
- And many more….

Gentle and environmentally friendly cleaning method
Besides the fact that this new equipment reduces the time, it is also essential that the cleaning process is a more environmentally friendly cleaning method as it requires no use of strong chemicals to remove complex surface paintings, rust etc.
This year, MarineShaft can celebrate its 20th anniversary. It all started with the cold straightening of bent shafts and rudder stocks. Today, the company’s service portfolio includes full-package repair solutions, whether the demand is for repair, new manufacturing, or on-site assistance.
