This year, the cruise with exclusive experiences dedicated to members of the Costa loyalty program will visit five islands in the Canary Islands. An unmissable event, with special guests: chefs Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze, Ángel León; and international star Boy George.

Costa Cruises presents ‘Canary Islands: Between Earth, Air, Water and Fire’, the 2024 C|Club cruise, featuring exclusive experiences dedicated to members of the Italian company’s loyalty program.

For this special two-week holiday, departing from Savona on 16 May 2024 on board the Costa Fascinosa, Costa has devised a truly unique program of activities. Starting with the presence on board, for the first time together, of Chefs Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze, Ángel León, who sign the gastronomic excellence on board Costa ships. The three chefs will be the protagonists of a challenge against time, each preparing a dish with surprise ingredients, and will be the judges of a competition between C|Club members, who will have to undertake to replicate, without errors, the technical gestures proposed by the Chefs. In addition, Bruno Barbieri, Hélène Darroze, Ángel León will sign a limited edition of the Destination Dishes, the dishes that interpret the tradition and flavors of the places visited on the itinerary, dedicated exclusively to this cruise.

Super special guest will be Boy George. International music icon, first with Culture Club and then as a solo artist, for years he has also been a successful DJ, one of the most original and alternative on the current dance scene. On the Costa Fascinosa he will perform a DJ set by the pool, singing also some of his most famous hits, such as “Karma Chameleon” and “Do you really want to hurt me”.

The entertainment program will be enriched by two themed parties inspired by the Canary Islands, the ‘4 Elements Party’ and the ‘Carnival Canario’, where there will be the opportunity to taste local street food specialties. C|Club members will also be able to compete in cooking and artistic creativity competitions.

The itinerary of this cruise will be just as special, discovering the Canary Islands, where nature and its elements find their highest expression. In fact, no less than five calls are planned in these extraordinary islands: Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Tenerife and La Gomera, as well as Funchal (Madeira), Malaga, Marseille and Barcelona.

New excursions have been specially created to make the most of these fantastic destinations, with different types of experiences. For example, in Fuerteventura a unique experience will be offered on a farm, where guests will learn how to make goat cheese, or a catamaran trip in the waters of the island. In Tenerife, C|Club members can enjoy an unforgettable adventure discovering the Teide volcano and its unique landscapes. Not to be missed is a visit to the ethnographic park of La Gomera, with show cooking and local wine tasting.
