The CMA CGM Group reaffirms its commitment to diversity, gender equality, and inclusion

On this International Women’s Rights Day, the CMA CGM Group, a global player in maritime, land, air, and logistics solutions, highlights its unwavering commitment to women’s rights. This day serves as a reminder of the Group’s constant desire and collective responsibility to create an environment conducive to the fulfillment of each individual, without distinction.

The CMA CGM Group actively opposes inequalities between women and men while shaping meaningful career opportunities. Concretely, the Group implements leadership programs such as “WE – Women Empowerment”, encourages support networks, and backs initiatives in women’s sports.

Concrete measures to strengthen gender equality and diversity

The group has implemented numerous measures to strengthen gender equality and diversity within its teams.

  • The “WE – Women Empowerment” program was launched to accelerate the professional development of women within the Group and promote their leadership.
  • Training for all managers in France against all forms of discrimination, including a dedicated section on harassment.
  • Group Leadership programs incorporate diversity and inclusion: within GM School, Explore, Excelerate, and Expand programs, the Group aims to train as many men as women.
  • “Elles Bougent” is a program promoting careers in transportation and logistics to girls and young women in colleges and high schools, led by mentors in more than 9 countries.
  • Training for all Group employees in favor of inclusion via mandatory e-learning on discrimination prevention, including awareness of the most commonly observed unconscious biases in the company.
  • A micro-learning campaign “One month, one bias” conducted at the Group level, designed to better understand the issues related to diversity and inclusion in daily life. The Group was awarded the Gold Trophy in the International HR Director category at the 10th Victoires du Capital Humain, organized by HR Decision Makers, for this internally created and innovative campaign.
