Theodore Ioannou, Group Technical Superintendent – BSM Hellas

As a Group Technical Superintendent for BSM, Theodore is responsible for the definition, implementation, and monitoring of the maintenance strategy of BSM’s fleet. Theodore is leading one of BSM’s strategic compasses, “smart Maintenance” and is about spearheading BSM through digital transformation era into advanced maintenance techniques under the scope of Reliability Centered maintenance, with of focal point on safety.

Through the years, Theodore held and managed key roles and projects also for the vessel and engine performance departments of BSM and other high-tech companies in the maritime industry. He has a background of Naval Architect and Marine Engineer and holds a master’s degree in computational fluid dynamics and in executive maritime management from prestigious universities.
