Event of the Shipping Deputy Ministry of Cyprus in Athens for the 60th anniversary of the Cyprus Register


The Shipping Deputy Ministry of Cyprus organised an event in Athens on Tuesday, March 5 for the 60th anniversary of the establishment of the Cyprus Ship Register. The dinner was attended in full by the shipowning community of Greece, recognising in practice the timeless and stable support for the Cyprus Registry.

In her speech, the Shipping Deputy Minister Marina Hadjimanoli, made a historical review of the evolution of the register and referred to the advantages of Cyprus Shipping as a flag state, the vision, as well as the goals and priorities set by the Shipping Deputy Ministry of Cyprus. She noted the constant commitment of the Government and the President of the Republic himself, to the further development and strengthening of the sector and the shielding of the competitiveness of European shipping.
