Carnival Cruise Line voted Best Ocean Cruise Line in USA Today’s ’10Best’ readers choice awards for second consecutive year

Carnival Celebration also recognized as Best Cruise Ship for Entertainment and Dinin
Carnival Cruise Line was once again a big winner in USA Today’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, taking home the top honor of Best Ocean Cruise Line for the second consecutive year. Carnival Celebration, one of the cruise line’s most recent additions to its fleet, was also voted the best cruise ship in both the dining and entertainment categories.
“To win the ‘The Best Ocean Cruise Line’ award for a second consecutive year is a testament to the loyalty we value so greatly from our guests as well as the outstanding commitment of our team members who work diligently to create the fun and memorable experiences we’re known for across our beautiful fleet,” said Christine Duffy, president of Carnival Cruise Line.
Nominations for the 10Best Awards were selected by a panel of cruise industry experts, with voting taking place online by USA Today readers who were asked to rank cruise lines in a variety of product and service-based categories.
USA Today judges’ note that Carnival “caters to families and casual cruisers with its fleet of ‘Fun Ships.’ On these large cruises, passengers have no excuse to feel bored; ships come equipped with water parks, glitzy casinos, live entertainment, and a focus on diverse, casual dining, highlighted by a partnership with celebrity chef Guy Fieri to bring Guy’s Burger Joint to the fleet. All of this comes at affordable price points.”
The awards come as Carnival continues an exciting period of growth that began in 2021. Recently, the cruise line’s new flagship, Carnival Jubilee, launched in Galveston, Tex. Carnival’s 27th ship, Carnival Firenze, will soon join the fleet from Long Beach, Calif., with its first sailing on April 25, 2024. Celebration Key, the cruise line’s exclusive destination, will open in the summer of 2025 and Carnival also recently announced a fourth Excel sister ship will join Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Celebration and Mardi Gras in 2027.
