From life cycle management to greening and safety

The Shipdex organization is constantly working to improve the Protocol, paying close attention to the needs and suggestions from the marine and maritime community. By continuously enhancing the Shipdex Protocol and its acceptance, we aim to contribute to the greening and the safety in the marine and maritime sector by promoting the standardization of equipment technical documentation and maintenance data in-service feedback, efficient information sharing, improved maintenance practices, enhanced training, and data-driven safety analysis.

Henrik Dan Kaspersen, MAN Energy Solutions’ Shipdex Competence Center Leader and Executive Member of Shipdex  says “To further increase awareness and anchor Shipdex as a core enabler of digital transformation in the Maritime Industry, MAN Energy Solutions offers a FREE Shipdex data set to ship owners and software companies. The relevant vessel/engine will be selected in mutual agreement between MAN Energy Solutions and the ship owner/software company – or jointly with all three parties – allowing for carrying out a feasibility study”.

Below important companies have already accepted the MAN ES proposal and some others are on the way.
