Shipdex announces the establishment of the Shipdex Council

The non-profit Shipdex organization was created more than 15 years ago and it is currently composed of seven important marine and maritime stakeholders.

15 years ago the Shipdex Protocol was created with the scope to support the whole marine and maritime community to improve the ship life cycle management establishing a well-structured and standardized two-way of data flow among manufacturers, customers, shipyards and authorities.  Shipdex Protocol is the customization of equivalent specifications used in the aero-space and defence community.

In a continuous commitment to support the marine and maritime community, Shipdex is redoubling its efforts to propel the shipping industry forward. Among these efforts is the establishment of the Shipdex Council composed of the seven Shipdex Executive Members and open, by invitation, to high-level figures in the maritime industry.

Shipdex invites any company considering becoming a valuable member of the Council to contact the Shipdex Secretary General (team@shipdex.org) to ask any necessary information and explanation.
