Konecranes’ new brand identity reflects its ambition to become a global material handling solutions leader

Konecranes unveils its new brand identity, the next big step in its drive to become the world leader in material handling solutions, creating value for everyone.
The announcement caps a momentous last eight months for the company, during which it has announced an updated strategy and new financial targets, a new ambition and purpose, and new values distilled from the input of thousands of employees around the globe.
These milestones mark a new era for Konecranes and reflect its commitment to deliver positive, meaningful change wherever it operates. The company has a critical role to play in the handling of materials and goods essential for people, while also ensuring the preservation of scarce resources and reduction of emissions.
“Be it the fruit on your table, the tissue paper in your house or the steel in your office building, chances are we have had a role in moving it safely, reliably and sustainably. We move what’s needed where it matters most, and drive change in our industry,” said Konecranes President and CEO Anders Svensson.
“Our new brand promise, Konecranes moves what matters, summarizes this significant impact we are making together with our customers and other stakeholders. We truly are shaping next-generation material handling solutions for a smarter, safer and better world,” he said.
Moves what matters replaces Konecranes’ previous brand promise, Lifting Businesses, which was introduced in 2006. This change underscores the value Konecranes brings for customers and the world beyond just lifting. The company logo and “C” symbol will remain, but with an updated meaning to describe its broadened role in global material handling.
Today’s announcement covers the Konecranes global brand, with changes to be rolled out globally during 2024.
