After stepping ashore as Technical Superintendent, he continued to pursue his quest for knowledge and completed MBA in General Management & Finance from University of Liverpool and Advanced Management Program from IESE Barcelona. He has played a key role in set-up of MSC Shipmanagement Limited Hong Kong in year 2005 and subsequently MSC Shipmanagement Limited, Cyprus in year 2008. MSC Crewing Services Limited India and MSC Crewing Services Ukraine are under his direct responsibility, and he is board member of all these companies. Under Prabhat’s leadership, company has increased its managed fleet nearly twenty times since its inception in 2008 and has highest crew retention rate (98%) in industry.
Save the date in your calendar for this promising debate “Are the challenges of 2024 for shipping up for debate?” The shipping industry will be faced with several challenges, in the year ahead with acute interest on the rising cost of fuel, the shortage of labour, the increasing complexity of regulations as well as the threat of cyberattacks. The event will provide a platform for experts to debate these challenges with the participation of the audience hoping for discussion to be an engaging after noon.
