The Supervisory Board of MAN Energy Solutions SE has appointed Ingrid Rieken to the Executive Board of the mechanical engineering company with effect from 1 January 2024. Rieken will be responsible for Human Resources.

“With Ingrid Rieken, we have gained an experienced transformation expert who will enrich the company on its way to becoming a game changer in industrial decarbonisation solutions with her expertise and team spirit. The transformation of the Volkswagen plant in Emden into an all-electric site, which clearly bears her signature, is impressive proof of this,” explained Gunnar Kilian, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MAN Energy Solutions SE and Volkswagen Group Board Member for Human Resources and Truck & Bus.

Ingrid Rieken succeeds Martin Rosik, who is retiring after 20 years with the Volkswagen Group, including around four years as Chief Human Resources Officer at MAN Energy Solutions.

“With his outstanding commitment, Martin Rosik has successfully helped shape the Volkswagen Group’s HR work over the past decades. As Chief Human Resources Officer at MAN Energy Solutions, for example, he played a key role in the success of the Performance 2023 programme, making a significant contribution to driving forward the successful realignment of the company towards large-scale industrial decarbonisation solutions and the associated transformation. On behalf of the Supervisory Board and the entire company, I would like to thank him most sincerely and wish him all the best for this new chapter in his life,” said Gunnar Kilian.

About Ingrid Rieken:

Ingrid Rieken is currently Senior Vice President and Head of Human Resources, Production & Logistics at MAN Truck & Bus. She can look back on a 30-year career in the Volkswagen Group. Starting with an apprenticeship at the Emden site, her professional career, which she successfully completed in parallel with a degree in business administration, has taken her through various management positions in human resources. These included Head of Human Resources at the Volkswagen site in Emden and at Volkswagen Commercial Vehicle Production in Wresznia, Poland, before finally joining MAN Truck & Bus in Munich.

About Martin Rosik:

Martin Rosik became a member of the Executive Board of MAN Energy Solutions SE as Chief Human Resources Officer on 1 March 2020.

Before joining MAN Energy Solutions, the economics graduate held management positions at the ThyssenKrupp Group, Hochtief AG, AUDI AG and Volkswagen AG. He joined the Volkswagen Group in 2003 as Head of Human Resources at Audi in Neckarsulm. At the beginning of 2011, he became Head of Human Resources at Volkswagen Passenger Cars Germany and took over global HR management for the Volkswagen Passenger Cars brand in July 2011. In 2015, the Volkswagen Supervisory Board appointed him Chief Representative.
