The Shipping Deputy Minister of Cyprus Marina Hadjimanolis travels to Dubai in the framework of the COP28


The Shipping Deputy Minister Marina Hadjimanolis, travelled to Dubai on 8 December 2023, to speak at the “Shaping the Future of Shipping” Summit, following an official invitation by the International Chamber of Shipping and the Emirates Shipping Association. The Summit is taking place in the framework of the United Nations Climate Change Conference  and is organized by the International Chamber of Shipping under the patronage of the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure.

The Shipping Deputy Minister will participate in a Ministerial Dialogue on the impacts of climate change and how it affects the shipping sector, as well as on collaborations between governments to find solutions to achieve acceleration of decarbonization.
