Konstantinos Stais is currently the ICT Manager and Information Security Officer of Pleiades Shipping Agents S.A. He has been working in Shipping since 2009, starting with Thenamaris Ships Management Inc. and then switching to Olympic Shipping & Management S.A., before joining Pleiades in 2021. These almost 15 years of experience have helped him understand the needs of modern shipping companies for their systems onboard and at shore, as well as the evolving importance of cyber security. He has studied at the Technical University of Berlin for his Diploma in Computer Science, later acquiring an MBA from ALBA Graduate Business School and the Chartered Shipbroker certification from the Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers.
