The 1st CSN Cyprus Crewing Conference was an exceptional event with 23 guest speakers and three panel discussions with an overwhelming attendance of over 220 people. We had 254 registered delegates out of those 226 attended the conference throughout the day and at a time we had 218 attending to a presentation. A success considering that it was the first Cyprus Shipping conference on Crewing. Thank you for investing the time and resources to help recognise and appreciate our delegates and provide informative knowledge for the industry.
We would like to particularly thank the Director of the Shipping Deputy Minister, Ioannis Typaldos, the Vice President of CSC Andreas Hadjipetrou and the Senior Policy Advisor, Social & Legal Affairs of ECSA Eurico Ortiga for addressing the conference.
To our sponsors I would like to express my gratitude for making this conference become true, in particular our Platinum Sponsor KVH, Gold Sponsor OTG, Silver Sponsor PwC, Charity Sponsor Petronav Shipmanagement and Charity Foundation ISWAN and Sponsors Cassiopeia, Aphentrica Marine Insurance brokers, Danica Crewing Specialists and Oceanic. We really couldn’t run this event without you, and your input was invaluable.
The conference was under the auspices of the Shipping Deputy Ministry and supported by the Cyprus Shipping Chamber, Cyprus Marine Club, CYMEPA, WISTA Cyprus, YoungShip Cyprus, and ICS Cyprus Branch and I want to express our sincere appreciation, to all of them.
