NORDEN strengthens focus on growth and customers with new COO role

As of 1 January 2024, NORDEN expands the company’s senior management team with the newly created position of Chief Operating Officer , Assets & Logistics, to support and drive the company’s growth ambitions in delivering integrated freight solutions to our customers including port logistics and lower emission services.
Formerly President and Chief Executive Officer of TotalEnergies EP Canada, Anne Jensen takes on the role of leadership responsibility for the Assets & Logistics business unit, which is made up of Asset Management and Logistics & Climate Solutions.
“We are strengthening the leadership of the business unit, which increasingly shares asset investments, decarbonisation initiatives, safety and technical management services, under this new role, to drive further profitable growth and enhance our customer solutions within port logistics and lower emission freight products,” says CEO Jan Rindbo. “With Anne Jensen as new COO of Assets & Logistics, we look to expand our customer solutions, where we see attractive growth opportunities for NORDEN, while continuing our agile asset management to generate value in volatile freight markets.”
With a trading background in the energy industry and understanding of asset investments, commodities and supply chains from her previous positions at TotalEnergies, Maersk Oil and Shell, Anne Jensen is a seasoned leader, with a global mindset.
“I am both excited and humbled to join NORDEN,” says Anne Jensen. “With its diverse asset portfolio and long-standing history, there should be great opportunities for growth and an ability to support and drive the decarbonisation of shipping globally to reduce emissions in our customers’ supply chains.”
