SC CapRock, the Brazilian entity of Speedcast – a leading global communications and IT services provider – will be present at the Offshore Technology Conference Brazil to demonstrate the latest connectivity solutions for the energy sector and their applications in offshore operations.

During the event, SC CapRock specialists will be on hand to showcase how organizations can enhance their remote operations by applying new connectivity options, such Lower Earth Orbit (LEO) offerings like Starlink and OneWeb. Visitors can put these new technologies to the test and explore Speedcast’s leading SD-WAN and network management platform, SIGMA, which enables customers to harness all connectivity paths and value-added applications to transform what remote operations can achieve. OTC Brazil attendees will also have the opportunity to learn about the possibilities offered by the pioneering integration between SC CapRock, Nokia and Starlink in expanding private LTE network coverage in Brazil.

SC CapRock serves as the local entity for Speedcast operations in Brazil. This month, the company officially opened its new Brazil Innovation Center in its Macaé facility, where customers can explore new technology offerings and get a first-hand look at the latest industry-specific solutions available. Innovation Center visitors can see the SIGMA network management platform in action and how it can be applied to their operations and impact their business. Formal requests to visit the newly launched Innovation Center can be submitted by completing the online interest form.

The company’s Macaé facility was also recently recognized by the World Teleport Association (WTA), achieving Tier 3 Certification under WTA’s Teleport Certification Program. The facility includes 11 earth stations supporting key energy customer requirements for global exploration and production operations, including oil and gas drillers, operators, offshore supply and service companies, and is an integral part of the company’s global infrastructure.
