Providing increasingly sustainable choices in transport refrigeration, Carrier Transicold is introducing the new OptimaLINE container refrigeration unit, which offers various enhancements, including up to 15% fuel efficiency improvements. OptimaLINE takes advantage of multiple fundamental robust design advances, including a variable speed scroll compressor that has a permanent magnet motor driven by a variable frequency drive. This enables the system to operate at optimal levels, under different ambient conditions, setpoints and even at different cooling loads.

The OptimaLINE unit seamlessly integrates with Carrier Transicold’s Lynx™ Fleet telematics platform, enabling capabilities such as Reefer Health analytics, remote monitoring and control of the refrigeration system, GPS location data, geofencing and more.

The OptimaLINE refrigeration unit supports Carrier’s Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) goal of reducing its customers’ carbon footprint by more than 1 gigaton by 2030.
