Ville Vuori will leave his position as Kemppi Oy’s CEO at his own request.

“I feel that I have accomplished what I had as my target when I started at Kemppi. These have been an amazing six years in a great company. Thank you for your trust. We achieved a lot as a team, and now it is the right moment for me to move on and continue my work as a board professional,” says Ville Vuori.

“We warmly thank Ville for his commitment and valuable contribution to Kemppi. His term has included an extraordinary number of special events – acquisition of Trafimet, the construction of a greenfield operation in China, enabling Kempower’s spin-off, the coronavirus crisis, the war in Ukraine, the shutdown of Russian operations – just to mention a few of them. Ville has steered the company through all these twists and turns, while developing the company with great determination and creating an enthusiastic atmosphere around him. We wish Ville success in a new phase of his life,” says Teresa Kemppi-Vasama, Chairman of the Board.

The search for a successor to the CEO has already begun. To ensure a smooth transition, Katri Sahlman, Vice President, Strategy and Business Development, will temporarily assume the duties of the CEO, effective immediately.
