The Cyprus Shipping Chamber, as part of its continuous socio-economic contribution, donated to the “One Dream, One Wish” Charity Organisation, which provides assistance to the children suffering from cancer and related illnesses,the amount of €14,750, which was raised from the proceeds of the Chamber’s annual Charity “Beach Volley” Charity Tournament, with the participation of its Member-Companies, held in September 2023.

The cheque was presented during the Cyprus Shipping Chamber’s Monthly Members’ Meeting on 28 September 2023, organised at the Amathus Beach Hotel in Limassol, by the Vice President of the Chamber, Mr. Andreas Neophytou to the President of the Association, Mr. George Penintaex.

The multifaceted contribution of the Shipping Chamber to the social cohesion and progress of the country in general has been a fundamental principle of the Shipping Chamber since its establishment in 1989, seeking to support sensitive social groups, proving thus the high sense of social corporate responsibility of the Cyprus Shipping Industry as a whole.
