Eurico Ortiga is a senior policy advisor currently in charge of social and legal affairs at the European Shipowners’ Associations (ECSA). He is a Bar qualified lawyer specialised in EU policy, international law and international relations. Eurico built a career on social affairs, labour law and human resources while working for national public authorities (Portuguese Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Foreign Affairs) and for international organisations at both EU and United Nations levels. He joined ECSA in July 2021 to work on social and legal affairs following a position at the Portuguese Permanent Representation to the EU in Brussels.
