2023 Hydrogen Marine Transport Comparison Report discussion with Provaris Chief Development Officer Garry Triglavcanin

Provaris Energy  is pleased to release a short video discussing the highlights of the company’s 2023 Hydrogen Marine Transport Comparison Report released in May 2023.

The findings of the report confirmed the simplicity and energy efficiency of Provaris’ unique compressed storage and maritime transport hydrogen supply chain delivers the lowest cost of pipeline ready green hydrogen on a regional basis. It also demonstrates that compression is a compelling alternative delivery method for the regional transport of hydrogen. Provaris is now commercialising this supply chain through development projects underway in Norway (FjordH2 and Afjord) for supply to Europe and in Asia where we also continue development of the large-scale Tiwi H2 project.

Hear Provaris Chief Development Officer Garry Triglavcanin address some of the key findings from the report in the video below, answering questions including:

  • What was the purpose of the 2023 Hydrogen Marine Transport Comparison Report?
  • What does ‘across the entire production and delivery supply chain’ mean?
  • What range of export volumes did Provaris look at and over what distances?
  • What were the key outcomes of the report?
  • Did the report support the view that compression is an efficient process across the entire production and supply chain?
  • How does this translate into commercial outcomes for Provaris, particularly its two projects in Norway and its Tiwi Islands project here in Australia?
