Ambassador Cruise Line reveals Stellar Line up for supercraft themed cruise this September

- While exploring the British Isles and discovering its hidden treasures onboard Ambience, guests will be encouraged to join crafting workshops throughout the 10-night sailing, with accomplished tutors including Julie Peasgood of Supercraft Cruises
Ambassador Cruise Line, Britian’s premium value, no-fly cruise line, is proud to introduce a stellar line up of expert craft tutors on board its upcoming British Isles Discovery Supercraft Themed Cruise, departing from London Tilbury on 2 September 2023. The cruise, which will visit the highlights of Scotland including John O’Groats and Isle of Skye, plus Belfast, Liverpool and Guernsey before a short stop in Le Havre, offers the best of both worlds for guests – with plenty to do both on and off the ship.
Both experienced crafters and beginners are encouraged to take part in the impressive schedule of interactive workshops taking place during the 10-night sailing, which will feature sessions creating jewellery, personalised cards and notebooks, ornaments, trinket boxes, wreaths and more – guests will learn the top tricks of the trade from the best in the business.
Renowned actress, TV producer and award winning author, Julie Peasgood, who has since founded Supercraft Cruises, will present the workshops along with her expert team of tutors. Julie has been on over 90 cruises, sharing her love of the high seas and her passion for craftmanship.
Celebrated TV crafter and owner of Stamps Away, Ali Reeve, will share her distinctive methods and know-how with guests during workshops on creating handmade paper, marbled lanterns, Christmas decorations and trinket boxes; while fellow TV crafter and owner of Simply Vintage, Mel Waudby, who specialises in mixed media creations, will present workshops for guests to create vintage charm brooches, applique pouches, floral bouquet hoops, embroidered notebooks and tweedy wreaths – there is truly something for everyone!
Guests must book the workshops in advance to avoid disappointment, with only a limited number of spaces per class to ensure an intimate and enjoyable experience. During Ambassador’s last Supercraft themed cruise in February, over 717 guests participated.
Not only will guests have ample opportunity to hone their crafting skills, but additional special acts include stand-up comedy shows from Adrian Walsh and Pauline Daniels, plus amazing daytime and evening entertainment from the Ambassador Theatre Company.
Saver Fares for the 10-night British Isles Discovery Supercraft Themed Cruise start from just £599 per person based on two people sharing a Standard Inside Twin Cabin, and Ambassador Fares, which include the top Expedition Drinks Package, start from £941 per person based on two people sharing a Standard Inside Twin Cabin. All new bookings also qualify for free matchday tickets to Essex Cricket.
