On 13th July 2023, the ‘BMA Greek Seminar 2023’ was successfully held in Athens at Athenium Intercontinental Hotel with over 150 guests from our business partners in Greece, shipowners, ship managers, class societies, newspapers, magazines, authorities and other stakeholders.
The Deputy Chairman, Mr. Peter J. Goulandris has supported by attending and addressing his regards and participate in the course of presentations providing his valuable comments on questions by the audience.
Also the CEO&MD of BMA, Capt. Dwain Hutchinson has addressed his opening remarks and made comments while the Q&A sessions.
The first presentation on ‘ IMO Environment Regulatory Update ‘ was by the Deputy Director of Maritime Affairs, Capt. Ghulam Hussain, followed by the second presentation on ‘ General PSC Overview ‘ by the Deputy Director of Inspection & Surveys, Stephen Keenan.
The Regional Director Dimitri Tsiftsis has presented the latest activities of BMA.
On completion a cocktail and buffet party continued to rest everyone and provide opportunities for networking although outside a heat wave near to 40 C was in force.
