LUKOIL releases Sustainability Report for 2022

PJSC LUKOIL Board of Directors approved Sustainability Report for 2022. The document focuses on increasing corporate governance efficiency and prompt risk response in the context of the high instability of the external environment.

The Report was prepared in line with the legislation of LUKOIL’s countries of operation, as well as the non-financial reporting standards, such as Bank of Russia’s Information Notice, 2021 GRI Standards, IPIECA Guidance for the Oil and Gas Industry, SASB reporting standards, etc.

The new Report puts a premium on the LUKOIL Group Sustainability Policy. The document covers several new aspects: presentation of LUKOIL Group Human Rights Policy, description of prospective projects under the Decarbonization Programme, as well as tools of the Continuous Improvement System and innovative approaches to human resources management introduced by the Impulse project. The Report also includes an Economic Sustainability section, which addresses the Company’s strategy given the changed external conditions.

The Report was subject to an independent review by Kept audit firm and received a public endorsement of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP) Council on Non-Financial Reporting, ESG-Indices and Sustainable Development Ratings. The Report is published on LUKOIL website in Russian and English languages, and will be presented in the regions of LUKOIL operations in Russia and abroad.
