Handover Ceremony of the Financial Donation to “Hatzikiriakio Child Care Institution” of the amount of Euro 5195

Since last year CSN Events introduced the charity sponsorship. For each conference a charity sponsor is selected who contributes a significant amount to a charity foundation of its preference. In addition, CSN decided that there will be no delegates fees making the attendance of the conference free for all employees of shipping and shipping related organisations in Greece and instead recommend to the delegates to contribute to the charity foundation supported by the conference by indicating it at the registration.
On May 16th, 2023 a handover ceremony was held during the 1st CSN Greece Marine Insurance conference and granted financial donation to “Hatzikiriakio Child Care Institution” in total amount of Euro 5195 resulting out of the charity sponsorship from Seanergy Maritime/United Maritime and the donations from the delegates of the conference.

The cheque was handed by the Office & HR Manager, Ms. Athina Pteroudi to the hands of Andreas Tsigganos of “Hatzikiriakio Child Care Institution” in Piraeus. Ms. Pteroudi thanked CSN for inviting Seanergy Maritime/United Maritime as charity sponsors.

Mr. Tsigganos in his thank you speech mentioned that “this donation will be used to support orphaned girls whose families faced social economic problems. The Hatzikiriakio hosts girls from the age of 6 and offers them food, accommodation, medical care, education and counselling, while it supports its graduates with their studies and facilitates their integration in the society. The Hatzikiriakio supports 100 girls and their families every year. Mr. Tsigganos thanked CSN, the charity sponsor Seanergy Maritime/United Maritime and the delegates for their generous donations”.

The Managing Director of Cyprus Shipping News, Adonis Violaris thanked Seanergy Maritime/United Maritime and the participants of the conference for their generous donation to the “Hatzikiriakio Child Care Institution”.
