Deputy Director and responsible for the development and updating of the training Centre quality system.
Identifying and implementing continuous improvements, setting, and meeting growth targets, and producing and presenting reports related to the institute’s performance according to ISO quality standards and industry’s productivity. Responsible for developing and presenting Safety, Security, Navigation, Management and Seamanship related subjects to Cadets up to Senior Officers. Subjects included fire-fighting training (basic to advanced), compressed air breathing apparatus, basic sea survival, survival craft and rescue boats, security training, ISM, basic occupational health, and safety, slinging and lifting operations, cargo handling (Liquid / Gas /Dry), ROR and seamanship related subjects such as mooring and anchoring procedures and rope work and additional training on the field of AIS, GMDSS, ARPA, ECDIS and all navigation subjects as well. Follow-up visits to various numbers & types of vessels for on board safety and security training.
