For seven years, I sailed as a Nautical Officer on general cargo and bulk carriers, gaining significant experience and honing my skills. During this period, I became aware of a further demand for training in the industry. Recognizing the need of continual improvement, I committed to expanding training activities to meet this demand. My direct experience at sea provided me with invaluable insights into the areas where training can make a huge difference.Currently, I am the Training Director and Fleet Auditor, and my primary responsibility is to promote and improve training efforts within the organization and on the vessels. I am motivated to bridge the gap between practical experience and training by finding creative ways to emphasize training without jeopardizing job productivity or our crew members’ well-being. My ultimate goal is to foster a culture of ongoing professional development in order to ensure that our fleet works at the greatest levels of safety and efficiency.
