Lazaros Charalambous is the Managing Director of Mare Magna Shipmanagement Ltd based in Limassol. Within this role, he is passionate about recruitment, training, development and the long-term nurturing of sea-going personnel, their welfare and well-being.

Lazaros is also a Vice President of the Cyprus Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, a newly established Chamber aiming to strengthen business and cultural ties between the two countries.

Lazaros is currently one of the elected Vice Presidents Board Members of Cyprus Marine Club, a non-profit organization that embraces and encourages a plethora of maritime industry stakeholders such as Shipowners, Shipmanagers, Crew Managers, Service Providers & Suppliers, Agents, Terminal Operators, Legal and Financial professionals etc., to come together with a focused effort to promote and celebrate the Cyprus maritime industry as well as tackle various maritime issues and share experiences worldwide.

Lazaros was previously an elected Board Member of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber. It was his honor to support the purpose and goals of the Chamber, including promotion of the interests of Cyprus Shipping to further the reputation of the Cyprus flag, as well as protecting the interests of its Members, both nationally and internationally.
