Maria Georgiou, Director, Head of PwC’s Academy – PWC
With over 25 years of experience in business consulting and learning and development, Maria is heading PwC’s Academy which provides professional qualifications, business and human skills development both internally for PwC and to clients. Her experience expands to clients in Europe, Middle East and Asia and different industry sectors including financial services, shipping, public sector and European institutions.
Maria is leading projects in the area of leadership and management development, HR transformation, organisational development, implementation of HR systems, executive coaching and strategy and team effectiveness interventions for major organisations in Cyprus and abroad.
Maria holds a BSc in Management Sciences and an MSc in Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the London School of Economics. She is a certified Executive Coach by the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC).
Maria is also a Leadership and Team coach in PwC’s Global and EMEA Key Talent Programmes, supporting emerging leaders to thrive in a highly complex environment. She also acts as Project Manager in PwC Cyprus Inclusion and Diversity program which includes learning and team coaching on unconscious bias and inclusive mindset.
