Stolthaven Houston, US has received a Safety Excellence Award from the International Liquid Terminals Association  for the second year in a row.

This prestigious award recognises companies that demonstrate a continued commitment to jobsite safety and whose safety performance and programmes are judged to be exemplary. Stolthaven Houston was selected for its strong safety record in 2022.

The award was presented at ILTA’s annual conference, May 22-24 in Houston.

Daniel Strydom (pictured third from right with members of the Houston team), General Manager – North America, said: “It is a great achievement by everyone at Stolthaven Houston to be recognised by ILTA for safety performance two years in a row. This award not only celebrates our accomplishments but also serves as motivation to continue striving for excellence in safety.”

In a recent article for Stolt-Nielsen‘s thought-leadership publication, Stolten, Stolthaven Terminals’ Global Business Director – responsible for safety and operational excellence, Marco Dalmeijer, explained how Stolthaven Terminals is focusing on investments in innovation, people engagement and continuous, training to foster a culture in which every employee sees themselves as a health and safety lead.
