DNV x WFW – EU Emissions Trading Scheme: Digital Solutions and Next Steps

By the end of this year, shipping companies will have to adapt their systems and documentation in view of the introduction of the EU Emissions Trading Scheme for shipping.
EMISSIONS CONNECT by DNV, providing shareable, real-time verified emissions data and voyage statements ready to facilitate ETS settlement can play an essential role in this process and offers charterers and owners a reliable basis for calculating the required allowances.
In a joint webinar Rasmus Stute, Area Manager and Sergey Gribanov, Area Business Development Manager, Germany, DNV Maritime, Hamburg will give an introduction to EMISSIONS CONNECT and Dr Clemens Hillmer, Partner, Watson Farley & Williams, Hamburg will report on the legal framework and explain the next steps to be prepared by the end of this year.
The new regulatory framework is complex. We are therefore offering interested parties a face-to-face event in Hamburg (with the same content as the webinar) in German, where questions can be discussed together in person under facilitated circumstances.
The detailed agenda can be found below. Please register for the webinar and/or the face-to-face event via the links on the right. Please note that places are limited and we’ll confirm on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. Please RSVP by Friday, 26 May.
