Intelsat Dave Wajsgras named CEO of the Year by WashingtonExec

Recognition reflects stellar first year leading Intelsat

Intelsat CEO Dave Wajsgras has been named WashingtonExec’s Chief Executive Officer of the Year. The award, in the category of CEO for a private company with annual revenue greater than $1 billion, was presented during a ceremony in McLean, Va.

Wajsgras took the helm at Intelsat, operator of one of the world’s largest integrated satellite and terrestrial networks and leading provider of inflight connectivity (IFC), in April 2022.

“This recognition is really a testament to the great work done by the Intelsat team,” said Dave Wajsgras, CEO at Intelsat. “I’d like to thank WashingtonExec for the award as well as my Intelsat colleagues for all the hard work and dedication they provide every day to support our customers’ critical missions.”

WashingtonExec’s annual Chief Officer Awards recognizes the most impactful and innovative C-suite executives in government and industry. The awardees are selected by a panel of independent consultants and industry observers.
