Stena Line at Transport Logistic 2023 demonstrating a sustainable European logistics network

New intermodal connections, the latest updates on route network and fleet, and a clear sustainability strategy – the Stena Line team is looking forward to meeting new and existing partners and customers to discuss tomorrow’s logistics solutions at the Transport Logistic event in Munich 9-12 May!

Stena Line is on an exciting journey, growing its European route network, investing in new vessels, long term port relationships and sustainable technologies. All this combined with a high customer focus and close cooperation with rail operators makes Stena Line a strong partner for RoRo freight but also for seamless intermodal solutions making Europe more connected than ever.

“I’m really looking forward to discussing future logistics solutions with our customers at this important event”, says Jacob Koch-Nielsen, Group Head of Freight at Stena Line. “Customer feedback from surveys help us to continuously develop our offers and services but meeting face-to-face at these events is a great opportunity for dialogues with all stakeholders in the industry”.

Sustainability is the single most important topic for the shipping industry and with the EU Emissions Trading System coming into effect in 2024, the cost base for both shipping operators and customers is increasing. Stena Line is fully committed to supporting the EU’s ambitions, with carbon neutral energy sources and sustainable solutions across all parts of its operations.

Stena Line is also digitising its operations for continuous improvements of all steps in the customer experience, from the booking process, track and trace of shipments and customs clearance to checking in and onboard offers and benefits for freight drivers.

2022 was a successful year for Stena Line with new and modernised vessels in the fleet – there are now five E-Flexer RoPax ferries in the fleet while several existing vessels are undergoing upgrades to take on new tasks in the route network.

Visitors to Transport Logistic can find Stena Line in Hall B3, stand 123 during 9-12 May, 2023 at the Trade Fair Center Messe München.
