Stavros Ioakim worked in private companies active in IT and Telecommunications. He continued his professional career in a Banking Group as an Engineer, having under his responsibility the management of the departments both in Cyprus and abroad (Greece, Serbia, Romania, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom) with the functions of Physical Security and Fire Safety, Information Security, Safety and Health, Business Continuity, Cash Management and Processing and Insurance Policy Management. He taught a related subject as Associate Teaching Staff at the Open University of Cyprus and a private college.
He has been the Managing Director of his own consulting company concerning the above know-how and experience on issues relating to the application of corresponding International ISO Standards (9001, 22301, 31000, 27001, 27701, 37001, 45001). He has to his credit, many seminars, conferences and presentations as a lecturer on the respective topic. He was Vice-Chairman of the Board of the Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation.
He is the General Manager of ΑΩΖ Cyprus and the Chief Compliance and Consulting Officer in AANG Group.
He is a member of various professional bodies, domestic and international, related to his wide range of experience and academic qualifications. (Technical Chamber of Cyprus, Cyprus Safety & Health Association, ASIS – American Society for Industrial Security, CCS – Cyprus Criminology Society, IAHSS – International Association for Health Security & Safety).
