Sophoclis N. Constantinou is the Legal Affairs Manager of the Cyprus Shipping Chamber. He holds an LLB in European Law Degree from a UK University. He is responsible for legal and legislative matters affecting the Chamber, as well as for the Employment, Labour and Social Affairs, the Taxation, Finance and Legal, the Commercial Operations and Trade Facilitation, the Marine Insurance and the Ports, Passenger Ship and Cruise Tourism Committees. He follows shipping legal/policy issues and represents the Chamber on a number of committees with Governmental departments, Semi-Governmental Organisations, other local professional bodies and international/regional shipping organisations (ICS, ECSA, EU, ILO). He also acts as the Secretary to The Missions to Seafarers (Cyprus) and he is a Lay Member at the Limassol Industrial Disputes Tribunal.
